Support Our Mission

Horses deserve a caring home.  At Reining Glory, we are dedicated to improving the lives of horses who need rescue, rehabilitation, re-training, and re-homing. Equines who have been “dumped” at auctions and kill pens require time to heal emotionally, physically, and mentally. We at Reining Glory provide equines with all these aspects and will give them a second chance at life, a chance they all deserve. We are committed to helping horses that have no voice, no choice, and no one to help them in their dire time of need. EVERY horse deserves a chance to receive love, good care, quality nutrition, and a happily ever after…

About Reining Glory

Reining Glory Equestrian Center was founded by Rich and Teralynn Warner-Farnan in 2023.  The sanctuary resides on the border of Rensselaer and Columbia Counties in upstate New York.  The initial goal of our rescue was to help racehorses who were no longer successful on the racetrack and found themselves sold at auctions or directly to kill pens.  When thoroughbreds are no longer bringing their owners income on the track they are quickly discarded and find themselves in the wrong hands.  Sadly, so are the aged broodmares that are no longer valuable of making quality TB foals.

Our Partnership

Saratoga Warhorse

In our process of rescuing, Saratoga WarHorse found us, or we found them. This nonprofit puts veterans with retired Thoroughbreds one on one in a pen for an afternoon.
